Neenah is actively searching for a Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our commercial filtration sales for North America. Reporting to the Global VP of Sales and Marketing, this Commercial Sales Lead will have accountability for providing ongoing strategic business and customer direction, tactical objectives, and delivering on top and bottom line financial objectives. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for North American sales execution, sales/marketing strategy, and will work closely with R&D to execute on new product development. This is a high-profile player/coach position leading customer selling activities and market facing aspects in North American Filtration. The position is based in Appleton, WI.
Responsibilities Leads Sales and Marketing efforts for Filtration, North America Deliver on profitable revenue and commitments while helping formulate overall strategy for the future of Filtration, North America Identifying Customer/Market needs and work closely with R&D to develop and deliver solutions Effectively manage spending while executing on the above commitments Collaborate and lead cross functional teams to prioritize market needs and expectations Lead the demand forecasting process and discussions in S&OP for the current month and for future months and quarters Lead internal diagnostics on process improvement areas such as the qualification process, S&OP, Customer Service, Oracle execution, technology advancements with Customers and Customer service, supply chain leadership and program development with Customers Work with the mill and Procurement to proactively address opportunity areas scheduling, packaging, prioritization, Customer engagements, etc. Lead the business updates at mill town halls with a heavy focus on Customers, demand plans and the North American market Market assessments and competitive SWOT analysis
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or a related field required; Masters degree preferred Minimum ten years of professional job-related experience including eight years' sales and marketing management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Proven track record leading/mentoring sales staff while achieving business and individual sales goals Proven track record selling highly technical products Ability to collaborate and lead cross function teams (ie) supply chain, operations, R D Adept at utilizing CRM tools for forecasting and strategic account planning activities
